1. Why Do We Charge Fees

The fees we charge go towards developing new features for the website, enhancing customer experience, website maintenance, and paying our team! We also allocate a portion of our revenue to offset the carbon emissions associated with the additional transport we enable by allowing breweries to trade. See our commitment to sustainability here.

2. What Fees Do We Charge

We apply a 5% fee to the buyer for using the Brewing Trade service.

3. Taxes

All import duties, VAT, or otherwise are handled at the port of entry to the final destination. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that these fees are paid to release the goods to their final destination. Any delay in payment resulting in a delay in the goods arriving will be the responsibility of the buyer.

4. How We Charge

All buyer fees are included in the prices visible to buyers. Buyers pay exactly what they see (excluding any domestic taxes).

5. Payment Protection

All payments are handled by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. Stripe is one of the most popular online payment providers in the world. They offer security for your money and your financial information. Check out Stripe here.

6. Currency & Exchange Rates

Brewing Trade is a UK and Europe-wide marketplace, therefore, if you are purchasing in a currency that is not your native currency, it is important to choose a payment method that earns you the best exchange rate and the least fees. There are no additional fees from Brewing Trade for using a different currency to the listing currency.

7. Fee Adjustments

Fees are fixed and final. Any changes to the fees will be well communicated and in accordance with our terms and conditions.
